It’s Not Only Apple

May 9, 2007

Hardware is developing, with or without Apple, even on the mobile music player market.
Here is a review from the Wall Street Journal about the new SanDisk Sansa Connect player that comes with built-in Wi-Fi. So not like the iPod, which must be plugged into a computer to load new music, Sansa Connect can also play and download content on the player whenever a Wi-Fi network is available, including photos, Internet Radio.

The player is not the perfect solution yet (and not as sexy as the ipod), but it means WiFi is on the way, and when the technology is getting better, you won’t  need a 60GB harddrive anymore. Then you can have access to the ultimate “jukebox” to millions of songs whereever you are.
