Web 2.0 Isn’t About Technology.

May 4, 2007

And a another very interesting thought of Mark Cuban on his blog.
“Web 2.0 isnt about technology. Its about ideas implemented around simple applications that have been around for years. The maturity of the technology makes the implementation of ideas simple. That is the key to success in Web 2.0. The technology always works. It may sound crazy to some, but thats the reality. The internet as a connectivity utility and the browser are mature application platforms.”

Yes it seems so, and I agree, if he is talking about “software” technology. The developement and distribution of broadband, or the developement of new hardware, actually at the moment on the mobile device market is crucial for the web 2.0.
